Captain Arthur Dale Rothrock, BA 1902, BFA 1904, BA 1907鈥攁n expert marksman and sports shooter鈥攂rought home a gold and silver medal in the shooting competitions at the 1920 Summer Olympics, which took place in Antwerp, Belgium.

While an 快播视频 student, Captain Rothrock honed his shooting skills in 快播视频鈥檚 renowned Military Department. He also admirably served his country during World War I, and even received a commendation letter from U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt for winning a national shooting competition.

At the 1920 Summer Olympics, he won a gold medal in a team shooting event, and a silver medal in an individual shooting event. The United States won the most gold and overall medals in the 1920 games.

Captain Rothrock eventually moved back to Ada, Ohio, where he died in 1938 at age 52, just a few days before he was set to retire from the U.S. Army.
